Effective date: July 1, 2026

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement" or "EULA") is between you and Leadership Bytes ("Leadership Bytes," "we," "us," or "our") and governs your use of the Leadership Bytes iOS app, including related content, widgets, shortcuts, services, and Premium features (collectively, the "App").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, this Agreement applies in addition to Apple's applicable App Store terms. If there is a conflict between this Agreement and Apple's terms for App Store distribution, Apple's terms control to the extent required by Apple.

1. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store rules and this Agreement.

This Agreement does not transfer ownership of the App, its content, source code, trademarks, designs, or other intellectual property to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Leadership Bytes and its licensors.

2. App Purpose

Leadership Bytes provides leadership-development prompts, weekly challenges, short posts, software recommendations, progress tools, reminders, widgets, shortcuts, and related Premium features.

The App is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, medical, mental health, human resources, employment, compliance, or professional advice. You are responsible for how you use the App and for decisions you make based on App content.

Software recommendations and third-party links are provided for convenience and discovery. We do not guarantee that any third-party product, website, service, price, feature, policy, or availability is accurate, safe, suitable, or unchanged.

3. Free And Premium Features

The App may provide free features and paid Premium features. Premium features may include access to additional content, completion tracking, favorites, private notes, progress insights, custom reminders, widgets, iCloud sync, shortcuts, and other features shown in the App.

Premium availability, included features, trial eligibility, subscription periods, and prices may vary by country, time, App Store configuration, and Apple account eligibility.

4. Subscriptions, Trials, Billing, And Cancellation

Premium subscriptions and free trials are offered and managed through Apple StoreKit and the App Store.

If you purchase a Premium subscription:

• The price, subscription period, trial details, and renewal terms will be shown in the App and in the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm the purchase.
• Payment is charged to the Apple account you use for the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple's subscription rules.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account subscription settings.
• If a free trial is offered and you do not want it to renew, cancel before the trial ends according to Apple's instructions.
• Refund requests, billing disputes, and cancellation processing are handled by Apple, not directly by Leadership Bytes.

If your subscription expires, is canceled, is refunded, or cannot be verified by StoreKit, Premium features may become unavailable.

5. Your Content, Notes, And Feedback

You are responsible for content you enter into the App, including private notes, feedback messages, and support emails.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, confidential, sensitive, or information you do not have the right to share. Do not submit protected health information, financial account information, trade secrets, employee records, or other sensitive information through the App feedback form.

Private notes are intended for your personal use in the App. Depending on your settings and subscription status, notes and progress may be stored locally on your device and may sync through your private iCloud database. 

If you submit feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or topic requests, you grant Leadership Bytes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that feedback to operate, improve, develop, market, and support the App without obligation to compensate you. This does not give us ownership of personal information contained in feedback, and our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by the Leadership Bytes Privacy Policy accessed at https://leadershipbytes.co/privacy

The App uses Supabase for app content and feedback submissions, Apple iCloud / CloudKit for optional progress sync, and Apple StoreKit / App Store services for purchases and subscription status.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App in violation of any law, regulation, contract, or third-party right.
• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or host the App or any substantial part of its content except as allowed by this Agreement.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Circumvent subscriptions, paywalls, entitlement checks, security features, rate limits, or access controls.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App, Supabase project, Apple services, external content services, or related infrastructure.
• Use the App or App content to train, develop, or improve artificial intelligence models or datasets without our written permission.
• Use App content in a way that misrepresents Leadership Bytes or implies endorsement when none exists.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may interact with third-party services, including Supabase, Apple iCloud / CloudKit, StoreKit, App Store services, email services, remote image hosts, and third-party websites linked from software recommendations or posts.

Third-party services are not controlled by Leadership Bytes. They may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, availability limits, and security practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those third-party terms.

9. Updates, Changes, And Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App or its content at any time, including free or Premium features, as allowed by law and App Store rules.

The App may depend on internet access, Supabase, Apple services, iCloud availability, StoreKit availability, device compatibility, and App Store configuration. We do not guarantee that the App or any content will always be available, uninterrupted, current, or error-free.

10. Maintenance And Support

Leadership Bytes is responsible for App maintenance and support to the extent required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and all content and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these disclaimers may not apply to you.

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store and the App fails to conform to any warranty that cannot be disclaimed, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price for the App, if any, according to Apple's rules. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation for the App.

12. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leadership Bytes will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or substitute services, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leadership Bytes' total liability for all claims related to the App or this Agreement will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or Premium subscription in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Leadership Bytes from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of this Agreement, your violation of law, or content you submit through the App.

This section does not apply where prohibited by consumer protection law.

14. Termination

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated by you or Leadership Bytes.

You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate this Agreement, misuse the App, or if we discontinue the App.

After termination, sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, feedback rights, warranty disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions.

15. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store:

• Apple is not a party to this Agreement and is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• Apple is not responsible for claims related to the App, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, privacy claims, or claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements.
• If a third party claims that the App infringes intellectual property rights, Leadership Bytes, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or resolving that claim to the extent required by this Agreement.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce this Agreement against you as third-party beneficiaries.

16. Export And Legal Compliance

You may not use, export, re-export, or transfer the App except as authorized by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction where you use the App.

You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to applicable U.S. government embargo or sanctions that prohibit use of the App, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

17. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, except to the extent local consumer protection laws require otherwise.

If you reside outside the United States, you may have mandatory rights under the laws of your country or region that this Agreement cannot limit.

18. Changes To This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice as appropriate, such as by updating the effective date or making the updated Agreement available with the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Agreement.
